work sucks
Everything I have done in the last 4 years has been sacrificed for my small company.

Socially, creatively, physically, spiritually, emotionally I am a dried up shell of who I feel I should be.

I have spent the prime of my life riding the wave of almost-success... and found myself trapped in this endless cycle of half-work half.... nothing.

When do I reap my reward? There is no turning back time.

I never despised "success" until I found it staring me in the mirror.

I saw that happenin to me when I worked at iambic (www.iambic.com). I was workin on weekends, over 60 hours a week, and for what? Not much really. I hated my job and I was never happy when I got home.

I eventually got laid-off, but it turned out to be the best thin that ever happened to me. I later worked for a video game company, and now I have a wonderful job in Japan.

I'm happy, but not successful. I think that in that fight, happy should win.

Good luck with everything!

Can't say I hate my job. The work and the technology is at least compelling. Everything else tho...
