"Livejournal History" questions
1. Your LiveJournal user name and what it means:
Karl the Pagan - a name I picked up in college

2. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how well does your LiveJournal represent who you actually are?
7 - my extremes do come out online, but not as much as they used to... still the emphasis here is on things I don't get a chance to spend much time on IRL.

3. How much about your life do you post to LJ?
Maybe 2-3 entries a month are personal, many locked.

4. Is there anything you refuse to post about?

5. On a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others?
4 - I'd like to think that when I update it's worth reading.

6. Has anyone ever joined LJ because of you?
I've almost got a coworker to join.

7. What proportion of your posts are friends only?
Around 15%

8. What are your top five favorite interests on LJ?
theology, technopaganism, computers, electronic music, java

9. How often do you post in communities, and did you ever start your own?
Frequently, several times a week. I've started a few snark communities. I moderate a few serious ones.

10. How often do you respond to/comment on other people's journals?
Often, a few times a week.

11. Do you prefer to write in your journal or read other journals?
I read profusely. My friends list is a mile long and I have categorized them so I can keep up with certain topics or browse other topics when I'm in the mood for them.

12. Have you ever had something mean said to you or been stalked, harassed, or got into an argument on LJ (or did it to someone else)?
I have trolled once or twice. I've been trolled and I enjoy arguing on a few different topics.

13. Have you ever banned someone from your journal?
Many bans.

14. Why are you most likely to add someone to your friends list?
Being friended.. I used to co-friend a lot, but I've been pickier lately.

15. Do you automatically add friends to your journal if they add you first?
Not usually.

16. What is the most likely reason you wouldn't add someone to your friends list?
Too many quizzes and very few "content entries"

17. Is your "significant other" on LJ?
Nope, but she reads sometimes.

18. Have you ever wanted to meet someone on LJ?
Yeah, there are a few people here who seem pretty interesting.

19. Who are your four favorite LJ friend(s) and why?
Many journals are good reading. blackthornglade and imaybeparanoid each provide a healthy dose of religious or political snark. I don't have a favorite community at the moment.
